Shortly after, it was the announced on 14th July 2011, that Joe had signed a new recording contract with the world’s leading record label, Universal Music.

His album entitled: Classic took him in a new direction, with a range of timeless songs; while having been inspired by a new found repertoire during his time spent being coached by Universal artist and his mentor, the world-renowned Mexican tenor: Rolando Villazón.

Classic was released on 22nd August and stormed the UK Album Charts by entering at No.2, placing his new release above that week’s female chart-toppers Adele, Barbra Streisand and Amy Winehouse. Within two weeks, the album reached Gold status; it has sold over 400,000 copies to date.

Last autumn, Joe returned with his fourth studio album entitled: Here’s What I Believe, released through Universal Music – Decca Records on 10th September. The album showed huge progression for Joe as an artist in the shape of writing and recording new tracks. Collaborations include chart-topping vocalist, guitarist and songwriter of Shakespears Sister fame – Marcella Detroit, international pianist-turned-superstar Ludovico Einaudi and Nashville NAMMY Songwriter of the Year, Beth Nielson Chapman.

With such a great diversity of tracks, the album culminated in a selection of self-penned ballads and classic love songs together beautifully.
In 2013, Joe is now looking forward to performing around the UK in a number of one night shows, which will thrill with the diversity of music that Joe has to offer.
