2011 marks the 10th Anniversary of the Here & Now tours - the phenomenally successful 80’s live concerts that has been pivotal in continuing the popularity of the decades’ music and bringing their favourite icons to perform for fans across the country. Tony Denton Promotions brings together the cream of 80s stars to Arenas in 2011 starting at the Birmingham LG Arena on 24th June and culminating at the Brighton Centre on 2nd July.

The tour, headlined for the first time by Boy George, also brings back past Here & Now favourites Ultravox front man Midge Ure and the stunning US singer - Belinda Carlisle. This unique tour also brings back, for their first time since their break up in the 80’s, Wham’s legendary backing singers turned singing stars in their own right Pepsi & Shirlie, Jimmy Somerville who hasn’t performed in the UK for 18 years, the unique A Flock Of Seagulls and solo star of stage and screen Jason Donovan!

BOY GEORGE: An icon since he came to prominence in the 80s who won fans from Andy Warhol to Keith Haring and is one of the most photographed celebrities in the world - he is a star that will never wane.  As lead singer of one of the decades most successful bands Culture Club he had many hits that include ‘Do You Really Want To Hurt Me?”, which reached No. 1 in 16 countries and No. 2 in the U.S.A making the band and George a world wide phenomenon. The song was recently voted by MTV as the No.1 track of the decade. The bands biggest hit was ‘Karma Chameleon’ which reached No. 1 in the UK and became their only US No. 1 hit and one of the best selling singles of the 80s.  Other major hits include ‘Time (Clock Of The Heart)’ (No. 3), ‘Church Of The Poison Mind’ (No. 2), ‘Victims’ (No. 3), ‘It’s A Miracle’ (No. 4), ‘The War Song’ (No. 2), ‘Move Away’ (No. 7) and ‘I Just Wanna Be Loved’ (No 4). As a solo artist he has had many hits that include the No 1 hit ‘Everything I Own and ‘The Crying Game’ which was the soundtrack of the movie of the same name and produced by the Pet Shop Boys. George and Culture Club sold over 100 million singles and 50 million albums - there was not a country in the world that didn't know the names of Boy George and Culture Club. George also produced the hit musical ‘Taboo’ which was nominated for a Tony Award and was performed in both London and on Broadway. Since then George has performed around the world including touring as a DJ in Australia, Asia, Europe and Canada. He has also recently written tracks for Kylie Minogue and appeared as a guest on one of the last Jonathan Ross shows for BBC One.
